The largest and strongest of the heavy horse breeds is the Shire.
Weighing approximately one ton, they are capable of pulling enormous
loads, have a willing disposition, and can add an aura of grandness to
any occasion. Currently, Ayrshire Farm manages 34 Shires, participating
in draft horse shows and carriage driving shows.
Knutsford Edward (ASHA #22803-S) is currently standing at stud. Frozen semen also available.
